How fast is your
PocketPC? This test suite provides a simple suite of tests to test
the graphics I/O, integer, floating point and memory performance on
PocketPC devices.
Results for the HP540 series, Casio E-115 and Compaq iPaq H3650
are available at
Dale Coffing's Site. (Dale added the graphics to make the
results easier to understand).
Version 3.0 adds GAPI (direct video) benchmarks and additional
Win32 GDI benchmarks to test video accelerated devices. Also,
results are now saved in the file "\My Documents\VOBenchmark.CSV"
for easy viewing and comparison in Excel, Access and virtual any
other database application.
As always, the only way to get an accurate benchmark is to
soft-boot then run the benchmark before anything else to keep memory
from getting fragmented. Any other running applications (such as
Gigabar) could also impede your machine's scores.
